The Postman knocked on the door this morning which is not a rare thing if you know me that well! It was the content of the post today though that really excited me, it doesn't take much as you probably know, but I've been waiting for these three things to be delivered all last week, just three little things and they all came at once, what an added bonus!! Would you like to see what I've been waiting for? I thought so!!

The first parcel opened was the Union Jack bunting from Jane at 'Posy' as soon as I opened it I wanted to set up trestle tables along the street and start singing 'cockney rhyming' songs. I can remember only two times in my entire life this ever happening, the first was back in 1970 - something a Royal Jubilee, I think (I was too little to remember fully) and in 1981 when Charles and Diana married.

The second parcel contained the 'Artisan Bread Book' which the lovely Lecia at 'A Day That Is Dessert' posted about last week. This book looks fab, we haven't had chance to try it out yet, but the concept is amazing, thank you Lecia.

And last, but not least and I know you going to roll your eyes to the sky with this one!! A Clothkits rag doll (I haven't got shares in the company, really). OK I know more Clothkits, but this is not just any old rag doll, it is a reproduction of the very first doll they produced back in 1978 - I think? Anyway, I don't care, she is absolutely gorgeous and I've bought both designs, well I do have two little girls and it wouldn't fair now would it?!!
Arrrrrhhhhh retail therapy, but only the kind that I like, though I think for now I had better have a shopping rest before I get told off!!
xXx

Fab stuff!
Love the bunting - so nostalgic!
amd CLOTHKITS!!! YAY!!
I was an addict when my children were little. I think we may have had that (original)ragdoll. What I really loved (wish they still did-so I could make for my grandson when he's bigger) was the animal jackets with all the little Removable to play with) animals in the pockets. My kids adored! them. Thank you for taking me back to such happy memories.
Bread in 5 mins. really?!! must investigate.
Very grey here this afternoon, how is it over yours?
Hope your day is being good
Lots of love

Looks like you got lots of great things!! I hope you like the book as much as I have. Thanks for the mention!
I so NEED that bunting.I spotted it on another blog and was strong and resisted but here it is again looking so lovely in your piccies - it would so compliment my new little table. Oooo blog temptations!!!
Hee hee...at first glance I thought the bunting was a pile of union jack knickers! I really should get some and striong it across my front door in Italy!
I’ve got a grumpy face on now, I want that bunting and the beach hut, and yes I’m still sulking about it.
The OH is going to ban me from reading your blog, even more so in the summer.
The book sounds interesting!
Have a lovely day tomorrow, love Lou xxx
Oh such lovely ppost you get Nina. Gorgeous bunting and I so want that bread book. It keeps appearing in blogland doesn't it? By the way, I think you are right about the parallel lives! xx
Ooooh! I want that book too! It's so nice to meet you. I'd love to have you join us for the Spring Swap if you're interested!
Warm wishes...
How wonderful to have your own beach hut, I have a deck chair but it's not quite the same is it! Love the idea of the clothkits..will have to investigate further, and bread in 5 mins..sounds too good to be true! I imagine the bunting would look great in your beach hut. Dev X
Oh, I do like that bunting. I'd have it strung all over the house, although my husband would probably get miffed.
