Owl Cute No.2

I can safely post about this cute little critter now as I know he is lovingly stowed in the arms of the person I made him for.

This is my second 'Owl' attempt and I have to say I think he's my favourite out of the two I've already made plus he's my own creation, my own design which for me makes him even more lovely. That goes without saying for my first Owl creation, but for me he just didn't look right!

So the question I ask is 'which one do YOU prefer' because depending on your feedback I'm going to do a 'Give Away' next week (not today) as I will need some time to make the one most chosen so one of my owls could be winging it's way to you!!

The person I made the owl for, well I also made a 'little' something else too- a teeny weeny secret and tiny surprise. Are you intrigued?? I bet you are, here is a little lookie...

...'oh' sod it I know it's been received so I can 'properly' show you what I've been up to this past week - a little hand embroidered needle case. What do you think - do you like?? Because I am probably going to give away one of these as well!!

Have a lovely Thursday - fingers crossed for the sunshine as it's been a horrible soggy old week so far, well it has been here!

ps. If you fancy a giggle this morning than have a look at 'The Beach Hut's' posting yesterday it had both myself and hubby in absolute stitches.

Well I know how beautiful the giveaway will be as I received my beautiful gift yesterday!
I have been showing everyone that comes into the house, the owl is still moving about the house, in fact whatever room I’m in he comes with me because he makes me smile.

I have just got to think of a name for him, or her!!!

Does that mean I can’t enter???? Only joking good luck too everyone it is a gorgeous gift.

I’m off too work no rain today…love Lou xxx

PS. Have a lovely day Nina…

Nina, both owls are delightful so I can't really decide, oh, but Owl No 2 looks pretty unique so I will plump for him and I know just the little person who would love him as a gift - if I can bear to hand him over (all depends on course whether I get picked out of the hat!)
Have a great Thursday!

PS It's been soggy here too but we're promised a lovely weekend.

The owls are lovely. They are both very cute, but my favourite has to be No 2. The needlecase is so pretty,is it easy to learn hand embroidery?

Hi Nina,

The owls are sweet! I agree with the ladies above, No. 2 is my favorite...and the needle case is JUST BEAUTIFUL...I really like the cream backgrond with all the different flowers :)

Thank you for the mention...obviously I survived our first workout but on occasions it was a close run thing. Forty minutes of pain which in the past was only made bearable with the promise of a Toblerone, but even that has now been denied...Hmmm, note to self, never live with your Personal Trainer! Number 2 I reckon, jusx

The owls are cute, but personally I'm a sucker for a pretty needlecase.
