Crochet...so far

'So, how are you getting on with your crochet squares' I hear you ask 'It's been a week?!!' Well do you want to see?? - of course you do, so silly of me. Welllll...

...Ta-da!! What do you think??

I know it's very small at the moment though the 'crochet addiction' has already taken hold. Every night I am diligently sitting down and making up at least one of these little sqaures from the odds and sods of wool I've collected from various charity shops.

I'm hoping my interest will keep me going until I have a sizeable throw or blanket, but you know me I do get very impatient and there are so many lovely crafty projects out there to catch my eye. Though for now I am completely 'hooked' and the addiction to crochet is showing no signs of disappearing...

...well it has only taken me almost a year to get the hang of it and I'm not giving up now!! Thank you for all your recent help and advice - you know who you are!

On a different note, but still sticking with crochet. Do you want to see the other bargain I picked up at the charity shops yesterday?? Not bad for £3 and I absolutely adore the colours plus it's sooooo soft. I wanted to take pictures of it wafting around on the breeze in the garden, but guess what? It's raining again! Seriously whoever is doing the rain dance please, please, please stop it now!

So for now it is sat on the back of our rather boring, but very mucky (I do have three children) not so white anymore - sofa!

Have a lovely, lovely day - it's almost the weekend!

Congratulations on your progress so far, looking good.
I love your blanket find, very nice. I've hung some washing out this morning - do you think I'm tempting fate?

Well done you!!! The crochet does seem to have taken a little hold! Good going too for getting your wool from charity shops!
As for your bargain crochet buy, what a find! though I do wonder why people throw these things out in the first place?????!

you go, girl!
as for giving such things away...when you have a small house and too many blankets, you share the wealth. :)
