Finishing

I thought (as I quite often do - too much actually as it goes!!) that after finishing my bag and before starting anything new it would be best to finish off some of the other (distraction) projects I've had on the go - whey, hey!!

Sooooo inspired by the wallpaper in our front room (Laura Ashley's - Erin if your interested) I started to make ages ago a little something else for out front room. Can you guess what it will be??

I'll give you a clue - it's going to be an accessory! As if you couldn't have enough!!

So before I start my Little Squares Scarf or ripple (thank you for the reminder Mrs Fairyglade) I thought I should do a bit of finishing.

Happy shiny Thursday people - have a good one!

ps. I can't believe how dim everything feels at the moment - light wise that is. That's Autumn for you I guess. xox

Hi Nina

Just catching up on some recent posts that I have missed. Your produce from the allotment looks great - it certainly has been a bumper crop this year - due I think to all the rain we've been having!

I love Laura Ashley wallpaper and fabric and the Erin design is really pretty. Your latest project is looking good and will keep you busy with these autumnal evenings drawing in! Although I have to say I'm still hoping for some fine weather when we go to Cornwall in a week's time - clear blue skies and NO rain would be nice!

Have a lovely day

Hmm.. looks about the right size for a coaster, but I don't know how well crocheted coasters would work? Something for me to try maybe.
A cushion is possibly more likely, and would look lovely in those colours.
Could even be a hat, or possibly a tea cosy. One can never have too many tea related items!

Is it going to be one of those lovely round cushions? If so, I want one too! I desperately need to learn to crochet, I think - I have a serious case of crochet envy!

oooh, a round cushion cover ? Lovely colurs, as for the light I totally agree with you - I think this time of year is odd neither one thing or another -- lightwise that is

I love those colours, the wallpaper too. You are very good to get on with your finishing. I have a habit at the moment of almost-finishing knitting which either sits in the basket or gets given to my Mum to finish (if it's because I've got stuck).
Nina, what do you think of the new knitting shop in Broadstairs? I was soooo excited when I saw it!

I believe it might be a cushion, although a coaster springs to mind, a frisbee maybe, half a bikini top...the possibilities are endless! Dev x

P.s what's this about a new woolshop in Broadstairs, you kept that a bit quiet? Is it any good? Why are there so few decent woolshops around here?

I've just had a feast of Tabiboo loveliness - you've been busy growing, walking, making and crocheting! Mmm, family beena - gorgeous! Your bag - stunning. This potential cushion - yummy. Hurray!

Have been enjoying my catch up with your recent posts - haven't had much of a chance to do pooter stuff this week. Cannot think what your little round piece will be other than those already suggested. Do tell.
