Oh gawd. We often head to the beach about 3pm just so we know people will be heading home. Why is when you sit on a quiet beach someone always comes and sits near you when there's loads of other beach? Thought you might know the answer Nina. Enjoy finding some quiet somewhere.

Busy, busy! Nice and colourful though, good to see folk getting out and about.

ah but just think , you get to enjoy it for most of the year and some of these people only get it once a year. I'd probably be keeping away though too..

Thank goodness everyone goes to Viking and we can enjoy the many other beautiful bays in peace!
Hope you are enjoying the summer. x

Don't knock the tourists (she says being one of them) Ive been to seaside towns that rely on tourism where tourists don't go anymore and they are very sorry sights. Drug problems, homelessness and general poverty. A neccesary evil - so make them feel welcome. xxxx

Oh I soooo want to come back to visit...maybe when all the tourists have gone home...

Mmmmm me thinks I may have to get my thinking cap on and persuade hubby to have a week-end away...and then we could meet for a coffee too!!!

Yep, went to St Ives today and it was just the same there. Give me out of season any time, but it is when the locals get to earn their crust though unfortunately.

Thanks so much for your lovely birthday wishes.
