I really do not care if it is grey and miserable looking outside at the moment - it's not very inviting at all.
Not where I'm standing that is.
Because I've got the best of both worlds - sat snuggled up with the kids in one activity or another and.....even though it is a leaden colour outside the trees are positively glowing.
Our silver birch leaves have faded from a brilliant green over the past couple of weeks which dappled the garden with shade and a rustle when a breeze wafted through, into a brilliant vibrant golden hue that are lighting up our small outside space and as I stand here and stare are falling to the ground littering the lawn with their delicate electrifying foliage.
The glow is amazing and I wish I knew more about photography and how to capture these images - perfectly.
Trust me when I say that, even though the skies are grey the trees in our garden are golden.

Just utterly beautiful.
Beautiful! It’s not always about knowing what you are doing, it’s about having an eye…..and you defiantly have that Nina!

Oh I love silver birches. i love the way their leaves flutter. We have one in our garden which alas has to come down as it is dangerously near a drain. Gorgeous photos.
Love the contrast of the gold against the grey!
Oh my I totally trust you because I can see how they are golden. What a fabulous colour scheme you have going on there. Gorgeous pics xxx
I love silver birch trees. Lovely how the light catches them.
Fabulous photos, the light is perfect. So lucky to see and to also have your camera ready to capture it forever.
I find it really hard getting the light right so you can capture the colours as you see them on the camera ... I think you did a pretty good job
How do I know I need to get back on the diet wagon? When I look at a gorgeous photo of Autumnal trees and I get a sudden craving for a Crunchie!!
