Unwell

Not even my roll under the eyes filled with caffeine, cold cucumber slices or chilled down chamomile teabags are going to rid me of the dark circles and bags under my eyes today.

Not after the thirty six hours - or so - stint we've just endured with Little Miss Boo and her persistent cough. Though in fairness she is just as tired as we are.

But.......! Fingers crossed she is through the worst of it and it's just me left with the sniffles and sneezes this morning.

I do have to confess though that apart from the lack of sleep, we had (sorry I had) the most lovely day yesterday.

Sat on the sofa in front of the fire snuggled under an eiderdown with the little missus in question cuddled up tight beside me. Watching Disney dvd's sipping hot herbal tea (that was me) and ice lollies for her sore throat just doing nothing, but resting our weary eyes.

Here's wishing you a most wonderful snuggled up and keep warm weekend.

xXx

Poor both of you, hope you feel better soon! In the meantime, stay warm and cosy. Root ginger, lemon and manuka honey in hot water or tea helps me. xx

Get well soon, its awful, i cant imagine having to care for another person when being so poorly. You have such a beautiful way of writing and that is a lovely picture, i wish you were feeling better though!

It's snow, snow and more snow this weekend for us, so you'll find me in front of the fire too.. :-)

Glad she's on the mend at last Nina. We're always left dead on our feet after it's gone round all the family. Mum's deserve a medal of endurance & strength I think.

Have a good weekend won't you.

SO sorry - keep snug, look after yourselves and mend. We have something here too - can't tell if it's a puking thing or a tonsil thing yet.

Ooh it sounds like a perfect day to me - the snuggling on the sofa, not the lack of sleep, ugh! Hope she feels better now and you don't come down with it for the weekend!!

Love the scarf by the way.
