Hush

All is quiet.

These in between days of Christmas Day - now past - and with the New Year rapidly approaching.

All is hush in the Tabiboo household.

Well apart from the sound of children laughing, grown ups chattering the fire merrily crackling away plus the drip, drip, drip of the rain today.

But every now and then quiet can be found. In little pockets of conversation, children distracted with a new play thing or just when nothing needs to be said.

Reflective, remembering - the old and the new - contemplating (snacking) and maybe the odd (blissful) sigh - contentment is the name of the game and it is one I do so love to play.

{thank you Sue for this current 'photo' addiction!}

I hope you're finding some 'hush' in these post Christmas, pre New Year days?

{little Boo on Christmas morning}

Enjoy.

Sounds like you have had a lovely time.

Beautifully worded post Nina - it took me back to Christmases when our daughter was a little girl and a moment's peace something I craved. Nowadays I have all the peace I need! Do enjoy the remainder of the Christmas holidays with your lovely family won't you?

Hi Sweetie

I realise I never got round to wishing you Merry Christmas in time. Sounds as if you had a very lovely one and here's to a great new year.

Right Cluedo and then Curry is beckoning.

Glad you are enjoying some peaceful, blissful downtime. I have been reading, sleeping in til 9am, nibbling on Xmas chocs and best of all, the kids have been thoroughly (and more importantly, quietly) enjoying their new toys! Enjoy. x
