This 'n' That

Not much on the agenda today - just a bit of "this 'n' that" really.....and clearing up from yesterday!

Thank you for all your wonderful birthday messages - the eldest boo gave a grunt in return.

That's a good thing by the way - a show of emotion instead of a 'W' for what ever!

I think I'm going to print them all off and stick them in a scrapbook along with previous years I've posted about so that when he does return from the dark side then it will be a lovely thing to have....maybe.

You can never tell with these pre teens!

Anyhoo, with all my little ones off on their jollies today - mum code for school - the 'black cat' and I have been spending a little leisurely time in the garden pottering around the newly put up greenhouse - or big boys meccano as I like to fondly call it - and generally enjoying the sunshine and soaking up the rays.

That and wrapping Mr Boo's presents for the up and coming weekend.

Yep it's that time of year again where for one week only we have a mass of birthdays.

All good fun though - well apart from becoming another year older that is. That's not much to laugh about at all.

Well best go - more wrapping to do and the sun is still shining so more rays to lavish upon myself.

Ahhhhhhh - tis a hard life.....sometimes!

Have a beautiful day.

xXx

I was thinking about you the other day - I remembered that you share my pain of having everyone's birthdays (plus your own) crammed into one tiny space!

Hope you get through it all alive!

I know how you feel, eldest boy just before Christmas, younger just after. Very expensive, but always saved on decorations! Jude

I wandered around the shops with my edging towards 11 year old on Sunday. She walked a few paces behind and I think the slight movement of her lips was communication of sorts. When we were in the car hidden from other humans she suddenly became animated and gorgeous her again. Oh dear how many years of being an embarassment to be seen with do I have and you to have grunting Nina? Is this just payback for our teenage years I wonder. Glad you had a good day.
