Not quite my ankles, but I've had my toes out today - definite progress I would say.
I've spent the past two days trying to organise a certain princesses very messy bedroom - if you have a six year old princess you will know exactly what I mean.
Two bin bags later and it still doesn't look I've done a thing. In fact if anything........it looks worse!

So at lunchtime I decided to take some time out and sit on the back doorstep nursing a cup of decaff and the latest Marie Claire that conveniently plopped through the letterbox this morning.

Have a beautiful weekend and I hope to come back next week feeling a little (hopefully a lot) cheerier!

Oh, I loooove Marie Claire idees! So inspiring!
Hi Nina, I know what you mean about the weather, the rain storms we've had lately have made up for all that dry weather in April! Gosh though I would like Summer back, hopefully next week in the UK when I'm coming over - yay :) Have a happy weekend with sunshine, Catherine x
Oh how nice to see the sun! I had my toes out too today but I was far too ambitious and the boots were back on by lunchtime. Damp roofs again outside - the rain is back!
Enjoy a warmer weekend. Looks much more promising down your way.

Hi Nina,
I am glad you got to get your toes out! I hear the sun is coming this weekend!!!
Have a good one xx
Josh's room is the same! He took some of my wool and tied his draws by their handles to his wardrobe so I couldn't open them it looked like a big cats cradle, we had a chat about using mummy's wool, and tying etc, anyway on Friday whilst he was at school I popped up to his room and he has a cafe sign on his door saying 'joshuas' cafe' open or closed which he made and in big letters he'd put do not touch the wool! Going in to his room he'd done it all again, I had to laugh the scamp! Fliss xxx
Kids huh? (it's not her in the bin bag is it?) xxxxx
Good luck with the tidying. My 8 yo daughter is a pack rat and it drives me nuts! Have a lovely sunny weekend!

I know EXACTLY what you mean with regard to the 6 year old. I've started bundling up toys and hiding them in a cupboard, circulating them now and again.
she's so surprised when she sees things, and she's so disorganised she thinks it was her who lost it in the first place. I never get the blame.
