July

A month to remember.

I can't believe that August is nearly upon us and July will soon be a long and distant memory.

It is with some melancholy that I'm saying goodbye to the month of July for so much has happened to us.

So much laughter and fun, rushing around, being as proud as punch of my brave little ones and many, many tears that I didn't think possible have been shed.

August for us means a respite period.

To catch our breaths, look back and remember, look forward with anticipation and not quite relish the need to get back to a routine. Envelop ourselves with the familiar.

So as something new - just for July - I thought I would do a little one thing differently (for a change) and piece together a couple of mosaics.

Not my usual style, naturally.

I've tried to remember as best as I can - with the help of blogger.....of course.

Though I'm sure there are some things I have forgotten as for a month it doesn't feel like a lot - considering the amount of pictures I normally post.

And then there are the things I would just like to keep personal.

Anyway. In honour of the month of July.

You gave to us so generously and took away as kindly as you could.

These are my memories.

Thank you for the journey - it was most interesting.

What are yours?

xXx

For me July was a month of celebration , birthdays , a wedding , finishing my course , the transition from nursery to infants and from infants to juniors and an award. Fingers crossed August will be rest and fun with lots of sun - we'll see about that though. I like your mosaics , a collection of gorgeousness x

I live in Oregon USA and we had record breaking rain and cold until just a week or so ago.. so August will be our play month. Enjoy!

Stunning photos. The beginning of August always makes me feel a little sad as it means there is not much Summer left for us to enjoy (although our Summer usually lasts well into September and even October nowadays). It's a sign that we must make the most of the Summer we have left. Looking forward to the next few weeks. Enjoy it while it lasts. xx

LOvely photos as usual. July evokes - the end of term and all that entails - school trips, sports days and prize giving, the start of school holidays - days to cherish and remember. Thanks for sharing yours.

July was rain..and England..although I'm not saying the two go together (although they did, a bit, this year!!). It was new babies and old friends, fish & chips and kent cherries. I hope August is going to be splashing and starry nights..I really hope!

Oh Nina what a divine treat and log of some of your many photograhic July memories. I can't quite believe August is knocking on our doors, everything makes me feel like I am swirling down a big Alice in wonderland hole sometimes. I've enjoyed stopping this past week though. Happy August xox

Must remember to say rabbits, rabbits, rabbits before I talk to anyone in the morning. Need all the help we can get to get that sun a shining. It came out for the second time this week today and I'd like more please.

Love your catch up with July. Rollercoaster month indeed and now you can settle into the lazier days of August and enjoy.
