Sunshine and Showers

It's a constant dash 'in and out' kind of day today.

On a day when we're trying to get the garden organised before the crazy routines set in again, all this to-ing and fro-ing is honestly starting to wear me down.

So for the next hour (or so) or until the shower clouds disperse, you can find me - backside firmly planted - curled up on the sofa in the window (watching those blasted rain clouds) with a nice cup of herbal and a stack of old mags to keep me company.

Happy weekend.

xXx

You see, there's an upside to everything :)

Lovely picture, the Anemone seems to shine.

I wondered what was floating in your mug and have just realised that it must be a tea bag. I always make my tea in a pot, because that's the way it was done when I was growing up. Isn't it odd that I didn't realise?

Sounds like a very good way to spend a Bank Holiday Sunday afternoon and hopefully there will be sufficient time to do the garden later when the sun comes out again. Enjoy your magazines and cuppa.

I like the Dutch Master style of your flower pic, love dark dark backgrounds at the moment! Definitely having one of my phases!
It is an in and out sort of a day isn't it?
Enjoy your snuggle,

Definitely the best idea to take a load off for a bit. Good call.

Quite nice, I'd say!

Thanks, you reminded me how good it is to get last years magazines out for the season and lose myself for an hour! I have been picking sloe berries frantically as cows closed in on me and a thunder storm loomed overhead!

I hope you enjoyed your tea and mags! Always good to keep some back issues for that very purpose! Cx

looks like you brought the sunshine inside with those flowers x I did some gardening in the rain, and then had to warm up with a bath... it is still August right?

Dear Nina,

Are you too ever so slightly dreading the start of the schoolday rushing?

Keep sipping your herbel tea ;-)

I hope you don't mind me adding that I am hosting a giveaway... if you fancy taking a peek...

Best wishes,

Stephanie
