We have another little ballerina joining the ranks.
For such a long time this little girl has sat in the wings, watching, waiting - patiently - learning all that she can from her big sister and about the wonderful world of ballet.
She's tagged along, been ferried, whinged how 'it's just not fair' and even dragged along (on occasion) to all that her big sister has participated in, but now it is her turn and 'oh boy' how excited is she?
Oh-my-word 'or' O.M.G. - which is the girls new saying at the moment, spelt out and exclaimed in that way rather then saying 'oh my god'.......she is fit-to-burst.
And I think she has fitted into her dancing (ballet) shoes just perfectly.
So here's to double ferrying around - just call me mum the taxi from now on!
But how can I complain - my two little ballet dancers growing up way too fast and looking far too adorable all decked out in pink.
I think I'm just one big grown up girl 'fit to burst' for her little girls - minus the pink......for me.

Happy Monday and have a beautiful day.

Oh happy days - I remember the pink shoes and all the kit soon to be followed by riding lessons instead!!
Lovely little girl all in pink, hope she enjoys herself.
Oh, she looks so cute in the ballet dress, and her hair is adorable in the little bun net. I hope she has a great time XX
So sweet. x
adorable x
Just too cute! Can't wait for my special girl to take up ballet!Got the bun cover made already!
cute! X
I remember that time with my daughter. Hope she enjoys the classes.
What an exciting time for her. I do worry about the pink though, surely any colour would be better than that particular shade?
My daughter took up Girl's Brigade then Baton Twirling. Fortunately, neither one lasted very long.
How wonderful for your dear daughters, I'm sure your young one will LOVE ballet! (She looks so beautiful).

Awww your little one looks adorable! so cute it is what little girls dreams/memories are made of. Soon I will be seeing my eldest in karate gear. As that seems to be her choice of outer school activity.
My two use the O.M.G method of verbal surprise too! Not sure if I like it much as I always think of air heady beach babes. But then i guess it is better than swearing! lol. And I am a fine one to talk as I tend to use the whatever line when I want to draw a heated discussion to a close. Much to my DH distaste. He hates that expression. Where do we get them from.

oops! Sorry I meant the expressions not the husbands! He he he. Although.........?

Oh wonderful, and very heart wrenching. What gorgeous images. Happy Monday to you, Nina!
Nina, that is too sweet for words. Alice startd ballet at 5 and is now in grade4 and still loving it. I really hope she pursues this into her teen years xox
Oh that took me back, to my second daughter's first day in ballet pink! Cherish these days and these photographs won't you ... unless you have a budding professional ballerina in the house all too soon pink pumps and pink frills give way to Doc Marten's and black eyeliner!
She looks lovely! I love the hair accessory on her bun, so dainty. I would love for my little Lucy to join in ballet soon.
That picture brings back so many memories! I think that I have the same bun cover from my childhood. I hope that she enjoys every moment of ballet!
