It was one of 'those' weekends.
The sun was shining, the birds were singing - it was blooming freezing in the breeze and in the shade - but is was lovely nonetheless!
I even got my toes out - not the best choice of footware for the allotment mind you.
And for afters we took a stroll down to the seafront to watch the boats racing on the waves - dirty fingernails and all.
But in true typical coastal living the mist had rolled in off the ocean come Sunday morning and left us with a day of grey and 'blahness' - we relit the fire and snuggled our little selves down.
Well it is March after all.
But................!
It's almost, almost April though 'whoo hoo' and the very last week I can officially call myself a thirty 'something'.
Counting - moi - 'nah!'
Well maybe just a little bit.
I hope you all had a lovely weekend too and spent most of the sunshiny weather stepping out into it too.

It has been glorious hasn't it? Nice to see seaside pics, to get me in the mood for a Cornish spell...I am longing to go...it's been too long. Now I hope you plan to go out with a bang....from the third decade I mean!! I can testify that it is quite safe on the other side!!!
ReplyDeleteLots of love Nina and for your Birthday too as we will be off-line whilst in the wild west...

It was such a lovely weekend, and wonderful soul lifter. I really needed it! As always Nina, your pictures are a delight. I have a lot to catch up on, my visits to blogland have been sparse these past couple of months. I need a good cuppa and a few minutes to sit down and catch up!
ReplyDeleteHope you are well.
Enjoy the sun....and your allotment!

ReplyDeleteYour blog always makes me want to live by the seaside! I haven't dared to get my toes out yet though (mine are hideous and it has to be really hot for me to dare to show them off!)
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, when it comes!

It has been sunny but near the coast that temperature has been kept lower by the beeze and the sea mist. It's good to get out in the sun and find a warm sheltered spot.
ReplyDeleteSuper lovely post pips. Loooooooving the sandals. Loves Ionwen X
ReplyDeleteLuckily you made the most of the sunshine.
ReplyDeleteI have new sandals so the feet will be out soon - just need to find a new nail varnish in a colour that goes with them :)
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping the sunshine lasts for the school hols :)
Happy birthday lovely and thank you for those gorgeous pics. Life after thirty is fine though I do count more with each year!! Have fun xx
ReplyDeleteHello Nina, What a lovely blog, wonderful photos. Is that Broadstairs? My mum used to live in Ramsgate for 20 years, and we sometimes walked to Broadstairs, beautiful! Thanks for your comment on the glasses cases today!

Hi Nina, thanks for popping in to say hello! I'm so happy that it's led me here to your lovely sea-side pictures! It looks familiar but I can't put my finger on where you are, beautiful place nontheless. :)
