Not quite a 'this time last year' - that was the beginning of February 2012 looking back at my archives, but still most welcome to very excited little ones who are already grumbling it might occur when they go back to school on Monday.
It will probably amount to nothing, but I've still secretly got everything crossed and snow boots at the ready.
Here's wishing you a most wonderful weekend - no matter how the weather forecast turns out.
Have fun, keep warm and stay safe.
Nina x

ReplyDeleteFunny I just did a similar expectation post!
ReplyDeleteI am kind of hoping not I have two appointments that I need to be at early next week and the white stuff in London just cause chaos on the roads.
Enjoy if it happens!
I'm too hoping for some snow and yesterday checked my diary! It snowed here last February, the 1st, and I went for some fun to the mountain with my brother. Keeping my boots on call outside my door!
ReplyDeleteHave a marvellous weekend!
Enjoy your weekend Nina

I hope it arrives before Monday so our little ones can have fun. Oh and I hope it arrives gently without causing problems!
ReplyDeleteWell, I've had a few flakes fall in me (was jolly chilly, watching a hockey match) but it didn't settle at all. Enough for a snowman would be lovely.
ReplyDeleteWe got a weather warning email at work yesterday Nina, I've been crossing my fingers but all we have had so far is constant rain :o( I would be beside myself if we wake up to a white winter wonder land tomorrow! x Penelope
ReplyDeleteOooo I love snow, i am keeping my fingers crossed for you, We are having 18 degrees this weekend which is rather strange in the middle of winter especially as a couple of years ago the temperature did rise above zero for the whole of January.
ReplyDeleteWrap yourself in knitted goodness and stay nice and warm! - Annie
Well, here it's going to be cold to! I am not sure if it's going to snow...I am not a person who likes snow...but it looks nice!
ReplyDeleteHope your snow will come Nina. We expect some in Holland too. Have a good weekend! Stay warm!

We're on snow-watch here too. It does look promising - and I bought my kids snow boots a couple of months ago. They've been worn for various muddy outings - but it would be great if they got just a little wear for what they were intended! Fingers crossed, indeed! x
ReplyDeleteWe've drifted east to West Sussex for the weekend, keeping fingers firmly crossed for a sprinkling of snow as the children are desperate to make a 'Snowdog'!
ReplyDeleteWe're all stocked up for a cold week here too and have our fingers crossed for enough of the white stuff for it to be pretty but not enough for school to be cancelled! Have a good week x
ReplyDeleteWe are waiting in anticipation too. All its done today in East Sussex is rain but its so cold so fingers crossed. Enjoy your Sunday. Karen x
ReplyDeleteDue here Sunday night and Monday...hope school closes! Xxx
ReplyDeleteIt's oddly warm and rainy here, fickle winter! Enjoy the snow if you get it.

Felt like snow this evening... The sky turned that eerie white and the light was so pale. But.... nothing. Yet.
ReplyDeleteNone here this weekend, but they say we can expect some to come tomorrow morning just in time for rush hour traffic. Joy.
