{found in the park - one lone snowdog}
Like the magic of a Christmas animation it seems our snow has faded away, not even one little puddle of sludge is left to remind us how different last weekend was...though I know it still lingers with some of you across the country.
I wonder how many little ones wished their 'snowdog' would actually come to life - I wish I had a pound every time I overheard the very same thing.
We've been fighting flu and the dreaded norovirus these past five days and I feel utterly shattered, but I think we have beaten the lurgy and are now just trying to restore our weary bodies back to some kind of fighting fit.
Sleep, sleep and more sleep in large doses is all I fancy doing at the moment.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend and snow...if you still have it.
I'm off to join my little ones and have a very long lie down.

Awwww, what a cute snowdog! Joey was said that his snowdog melted away, but I explained to him that we could make another one when it snows again. He saw through his bedroom window and said that there was just the sock ears on the ground. I felt sad too, but we had a great time building him. :)
ReplyDeleteHope you get better from that nasty virus soon. xx
I so loved all the snow dogs I saw dotted around, built by children and parents who fell in love with the film over Christmas... and yes, my two were wishing it would turn to a real dog! Just love the magic of snow, turns us all into kids again :-)

That is so cute! We have a teeny tiny pile of snow left at the top of our garden where the snowman used to be. Ahhh, what a lovely couple of days they were. Hope you all get well soon x
ReplyDeleteUgh - flu and norovirus, that is a pretty awful pairing. I hope you are all well again soon! The snow dog is very lovely. Our own snowman disappeared yesterday, though he did hang on in there for a while longer than we had expected, looking steadily more drunken.
ReplyDeleteFabulous snow dog! Wasn't sure when I heard they were animating another snowman film that it would work but it was just as magical as the first! Sending you all get well soon wishes!! Xx
