...the woods will do.
Why do I crave the woods so much in the Autumn?
That's a rhetorical question...I know.
The only reasoning I can come up with is that 'it feels like home'.
We spent all of yesterday afternoon wandering the woods at Rough Common, Blean taking it all in, sniffing the air, climbing fallen trees, running around scuffing leaves into the air, mushroom hunting and getting headed by the odd acorn falling rather stupendously to the ground.
Hubby said being headed by an acorn wasn't a proper way to describe having a 'thing' fall onto your head from a great height, with speed added into the equation and that I just made it up. He calls my strange musings Nina-isums!
Well maybe I did, but it sounded like a good explanation to me!
Soul soothed, a little de-stressed - thank you for all you lovely comments and concerns.
I hope you had a great weekend too.
